DESTIR takes a Law Course at RVC!

DESTIR sat in on the Rule of Evidence course taught by Tom Alisankus Wednesday afternoon. A couple student workers were able to control DESTIR and I will say did an awesome job! The Rule of Evidence students had some good questions.

One question was "Can I ask DESTIR the nearest restaurants and get a reply like SIRI?" Prof Chuck Konkol responded with, "DESTIR does not use AI but you are talking to a real person with a face, name and a story" An important observation was made after about 10 minutes of DESTIR roaming the room and answering questions. A statement was made, "You know what? After a while DESTIR becomes the person on the other end and you forget they are using a robot to move around"
